A proof of payment is a document which shows that a transfer was completed successfully, providing confirmation that Dandelion sent the money to our paying partner for deposit.
A proof of payment will normally show:
Transaction details:
- Amount: the total amount that was transferred.
- Date: the date when the payment was made.
Recipient information:
- Name: The name of the person or entity receiving the payment.
- Account number: The recipient’s account number or details (usually partially masked).
Transaction reference or ID:
- A unique identifier assigned to the transaction, which can be used to track or reference the payment.
A proof of payment maybe in the form of:
A bank transfer receipt:
- A receipt from the bank showing the details of the bank or wire transfer, including the transaction ID, amount, and confirmation that the funds were received and delivered (deposited).
An email confirmation:
- An email from the paying agent confirming that the payment was completed, with all necessary transaction details.
An online payment platform receipt:
- A receipt generated by online platforms showing that the payment has been made successfully, including transaction ID and other relevant details.
