A cancellation request is a formal action that stops or reverses a transaction that has been initiated but may not have been completed yet.
If the payment hasn't been deposited or if it is pending, the transaction can be canceled and we will refund our partner. Once a transfer has been delivered or deposited it's very unlikely that it can be canceled.
Initiating a cancellation request:
Please email care@dandelionpayments.com to request a cancellation and include the following information:
- The transaction ID number: this is either Dandelion's transaction order number or our partner's order number.
- The reason for cancellation: a brief explanation of the reason for the cancellation request.
The Dandelion Care team will contact our partner to confirm whether the transfer was cancelled successfully or not. Cancellation requests are normally unsuccessful because they have already been delivered to the recipient.
Refunds for successful cancellations:
- We will credit our partner's account if a transfer is canceled successfully, so that the partner can refund the sender.
- If the transaction can't be cancelled, the funds will not be credited to our partner's account.
